Website ToDo List
Post a comment here if you find things that need to be added or updated on the website.
I still want to:
Implement a calendar (update: ok, I got the calendar, now to get it *right*)- Set pages so that some are ‘member only’ visable (update: I’ve started here. I’ve got ‘officers only’ pages set, now for member only.)
Finish porting the newsletters over to the new site(Whew! That was a job. Not really done, but they are here so you can get to them. I’ll work on converting them all to pdf next.)Set up a page for members to send in registration requests(update: this probably isn’t going to happen. I’ll continue manual registeration.)Redo Dashboard to user friendly page(update: FIXED!!!)
Can you think of anything else? Let me know, we will see I can get it here!
Thanks for stopping by!

A very nice site and is a asset for the club members. I commend you Sherry & Marcus on such a job well done. As a member I would like to thank you for all hours you both contribute to the club.

Woohoo! I got the calendar working right! Don’t know what I was doing wrong before, or did right now, but the calendar at the right, now highlights dates that are marked in the EVENTS category, as well as letting you look at previous and future months. Meetings will now be highlighted, and should show a slight hover popup when you hold your mouse over the date.
Be sure to let me know if there is anything about the site you would like to see added or changed.

When I logged on I was notified that “s28sitemeter.com” was attempting to leave a cookie. I blocked it. Any idea who’s attempting to leave a cookie on my PC and why?

Paul,
Sitemeter is the program/site that tells me how many people have visited the site today, where they went while here, and how they got here (referral site, search on Google, etc)
It doesn’t tell me who you are, but it does often tell me what city you are in. It will also tell me what browser you are using. This is helpful so that if I never have any visitors with Opera, I don’t have to worry so much about whether all the dohickies work well with that browser, but if most of my visitors are using FF, I better make sure I’m compatible with it if I want to keep them happy.
Hope this helps, and encourages people to allow the sitemeter cookie
Thanks!
Sherry
